Ratings - Silver Draik Bow
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) A super expensive item which only offers 9 icons of damage AND is species restricted. Sure, as far as it goes it is better then most species items... but what is the reasoning behind paying such a premium for a weaker item? Countermeasures (0/5) Fire and Air are both good icons, however with this item something like a Scarab Ring can crush it. Really you need more bulk icons of a certain type for these icons to be useful. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Flask of Liquid Fire would be my suggestion for a fire based attack. Either that or get an item with a better spread that is much cheaper such as a Scroll of the Fool. Other Points Final Thoughts One would imagine the spined arrows would not be very easy to fire out of a bow.. Rated on March 30, 2016 |
Rating: Rating History ▼ | Price/power (0/5): You can get certain 9-iconers for 1k or less these days, so there's absolutely no reason to pay nearly a million for this. Tactical (1/5): Scarab Ring comes out ahead and Winged Scarab ties it. Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, Sophies Magic Hat and Studded Leather Cuirass reduce this to 3 icons. Though this particular icon combination is extremely rare at this level, the Solar Flare Shield blocks it fully. Other (1/1): Expensive 9-iconers are a thing of the past. This bow was from the 6-icon era when it was actually considered a good deal, and when everyone had a Lost Desert Dagger... Closing remarks: For just a little more, you can get an Altador Cup Throwing Star. That's 13 icons with the exact same types as this bow. Rated on November 27, 2012. Updated January 28, 2014 |
