Ratings - Dual Battle Mirror
Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Since most reflectors do basically the same, the reviews will be mostly identical. Price (2/3): It's dirt cheap, but only worth it if you're going to use it against a plot boss. Power (1/5): at best you'll reflect half of your opponent's attack and come to a stalemate. At worst... you'll waste a weapon slot and receive full damage. Too much of a gamble except for a few situations. Uniqueness (0/2): Like I said, percentage reflectors are not unique at all. Overall It's what you'd expect. It's only good for certain situations where you know your enemy WILL use the icon type in mass. Because of that its final rating is 3/10. Rated on February 28, 2019 |
Rating: Rating History ▼ | At a Glance (1/3): You and your opponent are taking half the damage your opponent throws at you AT BEST, if and ONLY if your opponent ONLY uses light. Pretty risky to use for such mediocre reward. And then there's the off chance that it might break. In-Depth (1/4): Unfortunately, apart from Sword of Thigl, Flask of Liquid Light, and Kaylas Hat, you're not really going to see much massive light. Additionally, Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield is generally used so frequently that SoThigl has now taken/shares the niche that Sword of Skardsen performs - as a sneak attack weapon, except light has multiple additional counters (Superior Reflection Shield, Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour, Parasol of Unfortunate Demise, {{Dark Faerie Collar}}, Jhudoras Bewitched Ring, Dusty Magic Broom, Jhudoras Cursed Sword, and Air Faerie Crown!) whereas dark faces a shield and two dual duties (Ghostkershield, Ring of the Lost, and most notably, Hanso Charisma Charm). There are just so many answers to light offense and not quite enough light-stacking weapons to really warrant carrying this weapon in your set around. Anyways, the way you use it is by predicting when your opponent will use SoThigl (or two weapons that have a lot of light in it), then use DBM and another weapon that either attacks or blocks the remaining damage you take, thereby putting you in the lead for that round. It's that simple. Not easy to actually execute, but it's better than taking a lot of light to the face without an answer for it (even tho there are SO many answers for light). Price (1/2): It's just as chea... ▼ Read More ▼ |
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) Only 50% of blocking and can break? Ew. Also the price is way too high considering cheaper alternatives. Countermeasures (0/5) Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The Expert Lens is a better deal then this in every way. It is cheaper, multiuse, and just... Better. Other Points (1 Bonus) Final Thoughts Really, these items are hilarious when you think about it. First mirror, 25% LIMIT ONE. then you hold two anyway 50% LIMIT ONE, push them together 75% LIMIT ONE. So our pets are not smart enough to push together otherwise awesome mirrors and we are left with this? Rated on May 25, 2013. Updated August 19, 2013 |
