Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): Completely worthless. Any neopoint spent on this item would be a waste, so it doesn't matter if it were dirt-cheap. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this weapon does is too low for today's battledome. Even at its best it wouldn't be able to deal enough damage, making it completely worthless since your opponent would out-damage you every time. Icon types don't really matter when the damage output is this low, so even if it had the best icon types this would be useless. To makes things worse this weapon has fractioned icons, so it wouldn't even do the damage you'd think it does at first glance. Uniqueness(0/2): Sadly, most weapons tend to be rather underpowered or bland, be it because of lower than average icon count, easy to block icon types, or just oversaturation. This isn't the exception. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Nothing worth checking out here. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. I can't give a rating of 0 however, so it gets a shameful 1 instead. Rated on October 31, 2020 |
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) If it was a full 9 icons all the time then it would likely be worth using in some settings... If. Countermeasures (0/5) Physical is good to use if you have to avoid a reflector- but honestly this is rather rare. Add in the fact that it is only a "chance" at up to 9 icons and you have a pretty worthless item. The funny thing is- even if it can't be reflected it can mostly be blocked by an item such as the Altadorian Swordbreaker. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades There are many options- the expensive and most useful one is the Stone Foam Finger but you should also look into the cheaper Ultimate Negg Hammer and Scroll of the Battlefield. Other Points (1 bonus) The name- the concept- everything. Come on. Final Thoughts This item would be much better if it did double the (max) damage and had a very high strength requirement. Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Much costlier than your average 9-iconer and even the Scroll of Knowledge, yet has the potential to do only 3 icons. Tactical (2/5): The mass physical could be useful... except the Altadorian Swordbreaker is really common these days. Otherwise it has no tactical value, since the attack varies wildly and could potentially be a serious liability. Bonus (0/1): Your opponent will be in pain from laughing really hard. Closing remarks: Just get a Scroll of Knowledge, a Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer, or any other low level weapon that's worthwhile. Rated on March 27, 2013 |
