Ratings - Gelert Healing Remedy
Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price (3/3): Under 100k, that's what you want to see with these species healers, so the price is perfect if you want your battledome pet to be a gelert (Which you should, by the way, but that's my gelert love speaking). Power (5/5): 50% healing is a solid healing when your pet reaches over 120hp, and the next step up is quite expensive. Uniqueness (1/2): 50% species restricted weapons aren't rare at all, but I'll still give it a point because it's specifically made for that species and offers quite a great benefit at a reasonable price, and not all species have their own healer. Overall It's as great as all 50% species healers. If you want your pet to stay a gelert then this will be your healer of choice until you move to either the Leaded Elemental Vial or, if your pet has its hp in the thousands, to the Sword of Lameness. Because of that its final rating is 9/10. As a side note this is my favourite non bone themed battledome item. to the point that it was the first neo item I made a 3D model of. Rating: | Overview: Gelert Healing Remedy functions identically to Bag of Healing Dust, but with a much smaller price tag. The Good: A 50% heal is good, and getting it for cheap is better. The Bad: Not everyone likes Gelerts. Personally, I'm more fond of Kacheeks, and since Kacheek Life Potion is stronger anyways, it works out. Since "Gelert Flour" doesn't exist, and Gelert Morphing Potions aren't cheap, the Gelert Healing Remedy is potentially more expensive than the other options if you're zapping your battle pet. The Ugly Truth: As long as you're comfortable with Gelerts, the Gelert Healing Remedy is a great healer to use until you're ready to make the huge jump up to a full healer. Rating: Rating History ▼ | Price/Power (2/5) Provides a pretty strong healing power for a lower then you would expect price. Considering the normal power of species weapons, See: Not Much, these healers never cease to be surprising to me. Countermeasures (4/5) A 50% heal isn't horrible. It can be the difference between a win and a loss easily. Moreover since it can't be used if stolen? that is a huge bonus in 2P. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The soup beats all, all praise the Feel Better Soup The natural alternative is the Bag of healing dust which is the non-species version of this. Then you can upgrade to a Leaded Elemental Vial which offers 100%. Other then that, look at some of the other species healers such as the Kacheek Life Potion, Bag of Lenny Healing Seeds or Elephante Unguent. Other Points Final Thoughts A good price for a great effect. Not worth owning a Gerlet for though. Rated on August 30, 2013. Updated February 2, 2023 |
Rating: | Gelert Healing Remedy is one of the ultimate options for budget-battling. For years, Gelert Healing Remedy has been the cheapest percentage-based species healer. Although the price has risen considerably in the past year, (as have all healers) Gelert Healing Remedy remains a fantastic value when compared to Bag of Healing Dust. Gelert Healing Remedy is currently selling a price in the range of Rejuvenating Jar of Brains. Generally speaking, once a pet exceeds 120HP, it is time to begin thinking about a 50% or full healer. Gelert Healing Remedy is the cheapest option available, ignoring the cost of Morphing Potions. For Gelert battlers and those that are not picky about their pet's species, using Gelert Healing Remedy will result in huge savings. Kacheek Life Potion is another value option that can be situationally better than Gelert Healing Remedy and other 50% healers. Kacheek Life Potion is generally the more expensive option. Considering that Gelert Healing Remedy sports nothing more than a run-of-the-mill 50% heal, there is not much more to be said. If a battler does not have an attachment to a given species, does not actively lab their pet, and does not own a superior healer, then Gelert Healing Remedy is one of the best values available.
